It all started with a shared passion — and one fateful shift.
Dan and Brett are two physiotherapists who had each, in their own careers, become deeply committed to understanding what it truly takes to rehabilitate the knee after an ACL injury. Through years of working with athletes, they had both seen the same problem: far too many ACL rehab programs fell short. Short on structure. Short on testing. Short on performance. Athletes were returning to sport without being truly tested and pushed to their limits, and the risk of re-injury remained high.
They knew there had to be a better way.
Then one day, Dan joined Brett for their very first shift together at PhysioMoves. That very first shift together they instantly recognized something in each other — the same drive, the same curiosity, the same frustration with the status quo. Within minutes, the conversation turned to ACL rehab, and the rest was history.
From that day forward, they’ve been working side-by-side, combining their expertise and experience to build a program that leaves nothing to chance. What started as a conversation has grown into a fully developed system: Project ACL — a comprehensive rehabilitation and strength program built specifically for athletes, with the goal of getting them not just back to sport, but back to performance.

His approach combines individualized physiotherapy, advanced testing protocols, progressive strength programming, and on-field readiness — ensuring athletes are not just cleared, but truly prepared to return to performance.
Dan’s clinical expertise lies in post-surgical rehabilitation, with a particular focus on ACL reconstruction. He is passionate about helping individuals rebuild capacity, restore confidence, and return stronger than before. He works closely with athletes of all levels, including swimmers, olympic weightlifters, basketball players, soccer players, and runners. His commitment to athletic development and performance rehab is reflected in every stage of care, from early recovery to advanced, sport-specific progression.
In his practice, Dan integrates manual therapy, dry needling, and advanced exercise-based techniques, drawing from his extensive background in strength and conditioning to design tailored rehabilitation programs that are both effective and sustainable.
